  • We need to support health care in the “Super-committee”

While passing health reform is a victory for health care consumers, there is still more work to be done. That’s why we created Stand Up for Health Care. This project cuts through the dense statistics, the spin, and the confusion to explain the issues clearly, empowering Americans with knowledge and …

      • Bob RobertsonKarl, have you seen the stats on the so-called “economic miracle” that is Texas? Perry’s state may have created more jobs in recent years, but Texas also leads with the highest percentage of minimum wage jobs in the nation and the educational system is one of the worst. If this is America’s future, I’m not very thrilled.

      • Bob RobertsonSecession is also a very interesting angle. I’ve always thought that the open, hostile advocacy of secession from the Federal government was treason, in light of the “great unpleasantness” of 1861-65. What’s that about “one nation…indivisible” in the Pledge of Allegiance? How can such a person run for President under those circumstances?

      • Gregor Shapiro ‎1% (3 million) own 45%; 90% (270 million) own another 45% so the remaining 9% (30 million) own the remaining 10%.
Or it could be 33% for each group buy I doubt it. It could be 20 – 20 – 60 too, there is not enough information to make an unambiguous choice of ownership percentages.
